Yeah I haven't noticed anybody bring it up during my time digging on st. floyd. That line stuck out to me when I first gave it a listen since I still jam my local rappers for the most part. It's kind of crazy how my irl experiences tend to give credence to the insane shit I dig into.
I've known 2 salvadorians with loose familial connections to ms13 that have had people trying to destroy their lives with mk ultra sort of technology. They're brothers and I'm close to one of them. He told me about his brothers issues but we assumed it was due to his meth addiction. Seeing/hearing shit causing him to get in trouble with the law and act generally crazy. Then the one I'm close to ended up dealing with the same mental issues despite having no hard drug addictions. He turned to the church and feels like a new man without that evil following him around everywhere. Really makes you wonder about the fabric of reality when words on a screen suddenly start knocking on your door in the middle of the night. We also recently found out that the meth head isn't dead. He got attacked and left for dead somewhere and woke up in a hospital. Woke up and took off and never heard from him again until he came home to apologize to the entire family for all the shit he's caused. I really hope he's in a better place like his brother now.
That's wild. Yea I have heard that drugs opens you up or "softens" you somehow to the MK shit
The TX rap scene is heavy into opioid usage, which actually is a drug "they" can't really exploit. Meth and other stimulants on the other hand most certainly are
It's just scary to think about because when you dig into mk ultra and alters they always require a lot of intense reprogramming to get control over the subject. These guys were experiencing losing control over their actions without any of that. I know the one I'm close with has tried hard drugs in the past but not enough for me to think it's a factor. We don't really know in the end since most of our publicly available information has obviously become outdated.
aaand that's a notable!
