It's the reverse. Paul chastised Peter for only congregating with the Jews. Paul took Peter down a peg and told him he had to treat Gentiles and Jews alike.
It is the key passage that indicates the Pope is not infallible at all times. We can criticize the Pope, seeing how Peter then changed his ways due to Paul's criticism.
The only reason the Church would be allowed to fall to corruption is if all the people who would speak against the corruption left to form their own religions instead of staying to fight.
Jesus left us a template for a Church. Whether or not you think it has authority is besides the point. He gave us a gift and we allowed it to get filthy and corrupt.
Archbiship Carlo Maria ViganĂ² is my nomination for the new Pope.
Benedict was the last Pope chosen by devout Catholics. Francis was installed by the Central Banks. I agree that Benedict isn't allowed to die until Francis the imposter is done away with.
That's not to say Benedict isn't as filthy. Only that he went through the proper channels to get to his station. The hell that awaits both of them for what they have done is worse than any man could imagine if they don't Repent immediately.
For clarification, the Catechist (rule book) of the Church states the Pope is only infallible when he speaks on matters of morality while sitting upon the throne of the Church (wherever that happens to be, currently in front of the Tabernacle in the Sistine Chapel).
So even learned Catholics should know the Pope is full of it.
