Can't updoot because you are literally throwing a slight to someone, because you think the bible is below you, and you throw your words not even knowing that you are speaking a direct descendant of the original paleo-hebrew/phoenician language, the father of semetic languages, English. Before putting The LORD down, and THE WORD made Manifest which is Jesus. Know that The LORD Father SPOKE ALL into existence. And also know his people knew the importance of watching one's words. First letter in the Hebrew language is Aleph, Second Letter is Beth. Greeks highjacked and we get Alpha and Beta, Latin in Rome is based off of Greek, they just flipped all the letters around so they could read thier highjacked language left to right. And this is how we get our Alphabet. Paleo-Hebrew/Phonecian is the oldest form of language that is a PHONEtic language, meaning you use letters to form words that can also be pronounced. It is not a Glyphic language using pictures. Even though the earliest forms are symbols that resemble pictures, they also had associated sounds, the stylus came along, and to speed us the writing the pictorial AlephBeta became more line oriented eventually becoming either the characters we have today, or old ancestors seeing as how English is comprised of many languages, but mostly of latin, which is a direct highjack from ancient Semetic speaking people's. So you can speak your namaste and spell it in english characters, but you better know that you, oh mighty and high up one, that you know little of what you speak, literally. I will say this, much is lost in translation, and there were some very interesting things going on 4 - 8 thousand years ago on this planet, everywhere. But do not be so quick to dismiss others out of your own lack of understanding. Many men Died to bring The Word of The LORD into our english Language, look up william tyndale. He was burned at the stake for translating it, and they used pages of his own translation for the kindling.

He who controls The Word, controls you. And in this, "Age of Information" where do you get yours from? Communications is the biggest industry on planet earth right now. And guess who pretty much owns it.
Alphabet, Google's parent Company.
You might not believe in the spiritual battle, and you might think people who believe The Bible have to be crazy...
But let me tell you, there are much bigger and powerful people out there that know the Spiritual War is raging. They are the Spiritual Wickedness in High Places as mentioned in the book of Ephesians in, The Bible. And they want to own your mind, and possibly already do, because their number 1 goal, is to convince you Tye LORD Father and Jesus are not real, so that you may join them in the weeping and gnashing of teeth, because misery loves company. So go ahead, almighty namaste. I do hope I have been crystal clear in my Words, which are not even my words, but HIS. I just borrow them and do my best to bring HIS words to others.
There is no ladder.
We are all sinners, we all suck morally to the core and are on the EXACT same level of sucking. There is but ONE who redeems. Jesus. You do not know why, and it is because you have not read HIS Word. If you had, that namaste crap would namaStay in the trash where it belongs. I pray you find redemption, but I fear you will not by placing yourself before The LORD, and using HIS words to do it. I'm not a perfect person and I never will be, but when I see blatant ignorance displayed before my eyes, putting down a fellow brother or sister in Christ. I will defend my LORD and Savior's great Glory and Honor my brother or sister in their likewise endeavour too.
So before condemning someone publicly and placing yourself on your high pedestal using a word you probably only even slightly understand, and writing it in a language that you MOST CERTAINLY do not understand, take a moment and think about the repercussions first.
You know... After reading your exchange with Kautilya... I would NOT have expected you to transfer that negative energy - projecting it onto another who wasn’t even discoursing with you. I stopped after reading your first sentence btw - there’s no need to finish it... you’re wrong.
I don’t think you’re a fool or dumb by any means... but for your benefit - you might want to offer another response to my comment. I say this because given how you perceived my comment - who, after having read it - would/could ever trust any of your past or future words? Yes, I know which word I said that got you hot and heated; no doubt you can understand why I don’t think you can deliver a rational message about it, so forgive me for focusing on just your first sentence:
Can you help me understand how did you came to this conclusion:
Can’t updoot because you are literally throwing a slight to someone, because you think the bible is below you, and you throw your words not even knowing that you are speaking with direct descendant...
From this:
Can’t updoot so: Namaste ?
99% on this forum aren’t ready for this level of awakening, but I’ve personally witnessed a couple swallowing smaller pills that they have no idea is actually prepping them to swallow this one, lol.
Beautiful, indeed.
I’ll number my questions to make responding easier:
1: Have you considered there might be other reasons why I can’t updoot; such as a technical issue?
2: Do you know if I know the person I can’t updoot, and if that person also already knows me?
3: Aside from apparently offending you, who might I be “throwing a slight” to?
4: What exactly is this slight I threw anyway?
5: Do you actually believe you can read my thoughts to know what I’m thinking?
6: How do you know my reason for “throwing a slight to someone”?
7: Who did I actually “throw” my words to in the first place?
9: If my words weren’t thrown to you - why are taking offense to them?
10: Based on your response to me, how can you claim to be any different than how you perceive Kautilya?
Also - feel free to post proofs of any/every comment I’ve made that led you to believe that I believe the bible is below me.
Your choice to continue this discussion, but it would be greatly appreciated if you at least answer my questions - first. Believe it or not, I would love to discourse with you about the meaning of Namaste! I’m sure you’d be able to teach me something new - but based on what I got out of your 1st sentence... I’m not so sure you’re able to have a rational discussion without being emotionally compromised. Makes too easy to be biased, and not even realize it.
It’s hard to admit to yourself when you’re wrong. I just ask that should you decide to respond to this, please do so with discernment. I only read your first sentence - I’d rather not read the rest; I might be tempted to allow that negative energy you brought into this conversation to take away even more of my positive energy. Yes, negative always takes away from positive - that’s just how math works.
Here’s the thing... I wasn’t bullshitting when I said I would love to have a discussion about the word! But is knowing the history/origin of a word I use as a universal salutation, worth being ridiculed, insulted - basically treated like how the most extreme christians treat everyone who disagree with them (to include fellow christians)? NOT! And so that you don’t have to ‘read my mind’... I said what I said to let you know that I know that your response to me doesn’t help your christian belief in a positive way. It helped to further the ‘stereotype’ - which I imagine, was not your intent.
There is one reason I responded in such a way, and that was because I did as I said to the one I was in opposition with. I reflected not only on thier words. But my own too. That is why there was a lapse of time in between my comment to you, and to their's. I judged. And I shouldn't have. Because judgement isn't mine. I did not consider your words to have a different meaning. And that was wrong of me. There are plenty of things I should have said differently, to you, and to the person I was in a heated debate with. And furthermore, I am one that has pride issues myself. Loads of pride issues. And when I saw Namaste, I became triggered because of personal reasons. Being which, I once subscribed to a way of thinking of things such as buddhism. I don't know if that was where you were coming from, and possibly it was not. But honestly, it made me remember my past. And I feel like a fool now because of my past as to what i have experienced and know now. I know i came off very strong to you CrystalClear. And honestly, I have seen you as a regular in this community. I do actually respect you. And should not have acted that way off the get go. Which is why I will apologize now. But I am, like I said, still learning. I once harbored much hatred for all in my heart and have only been following Jesus for only about 3 years now. So there is still much work to be done on me. I exhibited pride in a very ugly form, and for that, I am sincerely sorry. But I will let my words stand as an exhibit. For how not to act, or how to act, however one will perceive. Which is why I said I had a good time. Because through trail and hardship and failure, I believe comes learning. And I have learned today, things not to do, things to do. And I believe it will only strengthen me for the future. I am not perfect. I never will be. And honestly, I am glad you took the time to say these things to me. I was wondering if you would truly call me out for the jackass I came off as to you. Because even though I stand, in my opposition to the other, I should not have reacted as I did towards you. You did not deserve it. You came from a place of love, I should have respected that. But I did only want to impress upon you the dangers of new age. I will stand firm on that. Because as I said, there is nothing new under the sun. Just rebranding. But in any case. I hope this response brings about a better understanding of me towards you. I will admit my faults. And I came off egotistical and pompous. I should not have. I have a problem with my ego, I deal with it daily. And I want you to know, I am working on it.
Thank you, TurdFergueson! You have no idea how happy I am for us! We’re both going to leave this conversation having learned something! ?
So... I know it seems like we actually have different beliefs - but don’t take my word for it - eventually you’ll come to realize that we actually ‘believe’ the same thing, no joke! While we’re all on our own individual spiritual paths; some long, some short, some straight, some like a maze... we’re all on the same journey, just different paths. From time to time, our paths cross, some of us travel together for a little while before we go off on our own again. Whenever I come across another, I offer what I can to those looking around; maybe it’ll help them get to where they’re going - who knows, they could’ve been walking in circles for years, passing by an overgrown path they didn’t recognize as a path at all... whatever I offer might help them find their way (or get them lost, but hopefully not, lol). I’ve actually been sitting at a fork on my path for the last couple of years... not scared to choose a path or anything - just don’t think I’m ready for that part of my journey, is all. Might get lost up ahead so gotta make sure I’m familiar with what I might encounter, first - screw that! Hmmm... maybe that is fear?! LOL
Anyhoo - enough of my horrible analogies (I’m getting better, I think, lol)... but if there’s one thing I can offer you it’s this: Forgiveness. I’m referring to you - forgiving yourself. Jesus constantly taught about forgiveness for a reason... It’s hard to do! We might think we’ve forgiven because we tolerate, or don’t bring it up - but that’s not true forgiveness. As you’re probably realizing, it’s a painful process. Forgiving myself for what I’ve done in my past was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my 40 years! Everyone’s different, but it didn’t happen overnight for me... took me a few years. Without forgiveness, those negative feelings take up space from love - and we can’t experience love’s full potential without being able to forgive. It literally changes you. How you see the world, nature, animals, other people... I’ve never experienced hate, but you have and that’s not a bad thing! Appreciate that experience - learn from it and use it help other souls on their journey. We’re all in this together!
Okay - so how about Namaste?! ? It’s been probably a decade since I did some basic research and decided to go with using it as a greeting to others. I think I got the idea on a business trip... The pilot ended his greeting announcement with Shalom. Naturally, I had to understand what that meant. I actually expected people to get nervous because well - people were still scared of muslims being on planes back then! Lol But thankfully no one did. Anyhoo - by the time we landed, I choose Namaste. I won’t even try to remember what I learned about it... but my takeaway was that it’s a way to greet others with respect, recognizing we’re all connected to the same god, oneness, if that makes sense. I know that the religion it came from (India, maybe?) they bow and do the praying hands... yeah no. Not for me - just the word! Lol
I love you, that is my thought. Thank you for accepting my apology. You have gladdened my heart. I felt as though if I were honest with you, the honesty would come back to me. And it most certainly did!!! I am truly sorry for being a turkey toward you. All puffed out chest and everything... You rock awesome socks off!!
I know you are a true person, you exhibited it in your responses. And that is why I made an effort to be truthful to you too.
That is what I think, u/CrystalClear you kick it on the reals. Keep killing it. And you present yourself with couth. Word Up!!!
Loves CrystalClear. And I will learn from your words, you have no idea how much your words have confronted my brainhole. Maybe you do... but in any case, thank you for your acceptance. Thank you so incredibly much!!

There are so many contradictions in what you just said, with no verifiable proof or history behind any of it. It is lamentable. You sadden me with your vain attempts. English is a slave language. An amalgamation or french, latin, and Germanic languages, and possibly a few others, created by countless wars in europe and people being invaded by one another constantly. And the poor having to just live among and beside all the constant foreigners invading and conquering the lands. But even still, most of those languages derive from older languages, such as Greek, and hebrew/chaldean. Especially in that area, because from the cradle of civilization, the region known as Mesopotamia and the Levant, people had to travel through it, to get to europe. The Germanic languages have different roots than semetic I believe, but in any case, seriously. I feel like younare just typing questions into google and doing your best to come back at me with opposition out of the sake of pride or something.. amd you already resort to triggered insults... vile and off my meds... only medicine is Jesus... HE is the only one that can cure the disease of Sin.
BTW - I realize now it wasn’t you Kautilya, I was referring to as being mean and judgmental - it was the other I somehow got you mixed up with - so my apologies!!!
angry someone from another region of the world is using the English language to convey a typical greeting in their own language?
Wow - so that’s what his response what all about?! Had no clue - I stopped reading it after the first sentence, lol But I can’t even pretend I’m half as familiar with ancient languages and whatnot as you two appear to be... which is why I’m simply an observer in your convos. But I typically don’t bypass opportunities to learn... just wish you two weren’t so judgmental and mean! It pushes people away, if that makes sense.
