If you haven't prepared your home and family yet, during the next two weeks begin prepping for 3 to 4 weeks of Civil Unrest.
This does NOT mean total SHTF scenario.
Keep in mind that stores only maintain about a 2 to 3 day supply of inventory for the local community. If trucking is disrupted nationally, even if only 50% disrupted, it can put a serious kink in deliveries and store inventories. Consider also the local panic rush on the stores due to unrest... and you will see how fast commodities disappear from store shelves. Same goes for gasoline at service stations.
During civil unrest, the first thing authorities do is lock down travel. The easiest way to do that is control of interstates and restrict gasoline / fuel sales. Even if authorities don't intentionally block trucking, there are always unintended consequences.
I'm just advising that, over the next 2 weeks or so, go over your plans.
Make sure you have several 5-gallon gas cans topped off.
Get enough supplies so that you can be self-sufficient and aren't reliant on stores for up to 3 weeks. Don't worry about water and electricity. I don't think those will be affected. Mainly, stock up on what you need in case food or other supplies get cut off for a brief while.
If we have a presidential transition, followed immediately by another "presidential" transition, then an attempt by Pelosi at assuming power, then military steps in... it can all hit the fan. Imagine the unrest in some major cities. Now imagine the steps needed to contain it and calm it back down. Now imagine you have to run to the store to get supplies during that time. Yup. Don't be that guy.
Here we go again.
You know how many times I have heard that his past year from my father in law who isn't a Q follower? 4 times. And once this year already. So 5. Im over this doom.
Did Q even warn of civil unrest? I don't think he/she/they did.
Its not the job of Q or anyone for that matter to ensure your family is protected. That is up to you. You should always have supplies on hand. People quickly forget about the backyard air raid shelters and victory gardens that were in almost every backyard in the US 70 years ago. Stop thinking its someone elses job to keep you safe, thats why were here in the first place.
You're right. At the very minim, there are crazy people running this world. A bomb, EMP, nuclear, anything could happen. Best to be prepared for anything.
I am more prepared and aware this year than I have been my entire lifetime combined. We have began raising all of our own animals to eat, I havent bought store meat in over a year. We made our own chicken stock/broth this year which taste 20x better than the high sodium options in the store.
I cant grow a garden to save my life though, squash bugs always eat it all. Next on my list is a sand/charcoal water filter. All of our drinking water currently comes from the PRIMO 5 gallon jugs.
I wont discuss home defense, thats an OPSEC issue, and will vary based on the individual/family and location.
Walking your property line daily will make you aware of issues you were not aware of before. Start securing your shit. I am considering putting up a 12 foot deer fence with a radius top.
I'm not a good Gardner, either. But I can and do grow tobacco. My grandfather taught me. I figure it's like cash money.
I've had the greatest gardening success with species that are naturally suited to my climate. Permaculture is a bit "out there" for a lot of people but it combines using your plants and animals to add value to your property instead of taking away resources. You are already miles ahead of the majority of the country though so keep it up
Every public school I attended still had the fallout shelter capacity signs. Somewhere in the basement were large barrels with food and supplies. Our society doesn't do that any longer. You need to be prepared to take care of business during a civil emergency.
Honestly, my only fear is when my spouse runs out of cigarettes. My life will be hell.
Learn to grow your own tobacco!
It's one thing to prep for weather. It's another thing to prep for a "silent war".
Better to have it and not need it, versus not having it and needing it.
Buy some batteries people. In cause the lights do go out. You can still have some light.
I recommend a good 18650 flashlight if you can afford it.
NOT EVERYTHING WILL BE CLEAN
So, because Q never mentioned civil unrest, no one needs to be prepared in case of emergency? Wow. Hope you're not one of my neighbors, cuz you're not getting anything from us when/if one happens.
K
Those were progressively louder wake-up calls for everyone who wasn't prepared. Emergencies/disasters happen all the time. You're not just responsible for yourself, you're responsible for everyone who had your attitude that they don't need to prepare.
So what makes this different from the last several times nothing happened?
