Green-screening does NOT necessarily mean....

that a person is "deep faked" (that's a separate technology)
that the background used doesn't exist somewhere.

Green-screening is basically just superimposition.

Deep Fakes arent all CGI. they use a real actor to plant the cgi face on. then put that actor in front of a green screen. thats how theyre made.
