I thought this guy was supposed to be based. His comment doesn't even seem to make that much sense. He talks about allowing women to have more time with their children to recuperate. Didn't really mention maternity flight suites. I would think by the time a women needs a special suite because she can't fit into a regular one, she's probably not as ready and lethal as she needs to be.
I'm having second thoughts about this senior enlisted officer now.
Check out the comments on that article. They don't seem to agree with Scott Stalker, like this one:
Mike McNelis Czechster • an hour ago Command Senior Enlisted Leader of United States Space Command, Scott H. Stalker, was NOT promoted to the position in which he is serving. Mr. Stalker is a senior prior service marine who is currently a political appointee serving in an advisory capacity regarding issues of enlisted personnel and their dependents. Mr Stalker is the personification of Drama Queen of the space guardians on Socialist Media on par with gold-digger missy meghan marlke crying about her royal mistreatment How quickly he forgets how the Navy and USMC discharges marine mother’s who for any reason cannot return to weight and physical performance standards within the the allotted time, even while under Doctor’s recommendations to continue nursing their infant. Uh rah mr stalker.
Pregnant women in the military is one thing (they already have uniforms allowences for pregnant women), being on flight status when your that pregnant is another.
Correct. Just imagine she is about to birth a child in a plane during mission and there is no second pilot. She is dead, child is dead, machine worth millions is pile of rubbish as the result.
Not only that, imagine a six months pregnant women having to bailout during a training mission and killing the baby. Or crashing while practicing touch and goes killing both? What kind of reaction would that get from everyone?
