No idea. Just trying to find and cross out every possible scenario.

But I do believe that, if the motor was to get stuck on full throttle, it was done so remotely. No sense in doing that if people already had such physical access to the vehicle.

Highly suspect for sure.

I've seen engines get thrown out of vehicles before, they fly a few dozen feet at most.
