It can be both. Planes (originals, decoys, remote controlled or otherwise) can still crash into the buildings on 9/11 AND news outlets can fudge/fabricate footage (so that it’s dramatic enough for their narrative). I never understood why the planes had to be all real, or all fake, when it would make perfect sense to mix CGI in with real footage.
