It reminds me of the opening joker scene in the Dark Knight.

Remember the bank heist with all the goons wearing joker masks and then betraying each other one after the other?

Each one not thinking about the same thing he just did to the previous, happening to himself once his job is completed.

Hopefully that's what we're about to see!
