Grab a random handful of albums from the 1970s, genre basically unimportant. Music was so good back then that the non-cabal-promoted bands who never made the limelight are way better than 95% of the music output of the last twenty years. (That linked-above song is sixteen minutes long, btw, an entire side of an LP. As they say, wait for it.)
Acclimate your kids to excellence. They're not old enough to understand, say, Lady Gaga's politics. But they'll realize that she sucks dead dog balls compared to anyone with actual talent once they've experienced that talent.
When my kid turned 16, I was honored to take care of the music. After the first tones of BF, the youth said: what kind of music is that, it's beautiful!
Then came the texts, and the discussions. My kid was very proud of her dad.
So, my argument would be, take time to explore music with your kids. Listen to what they like, show them what you like. You may be surprised at the response. This is not like the polka your dad liked and you did not.
In The Netherlands, every year, between Christmas and New years, there is a top 2000. Everybody can sent in their top 10, and based on the input, a new list is assembled and then aired.
Normally, there also is a top2000 cafe. It is a family thing. Whole families with their kids are dropping in and having fun, dancing, celebrating. This has been going on for 20 odd years.
Go right, to the latest and sort it ascending. Then go left and check the top 10%, so the no. 1 - 200. You tell me, what that represents in terms of anti brainwashing. (check Hotel California - Eagles)
Notable mention: Deutschland, Rammstein.
You would need quite a lot of votes to get there, as millions people sent in their top lists.

Naah.. Message is okay I guess, but it has way too much autotune for me. My favourite amount of autotune effect is none. :-)
Watch his other music videos, and pay attention to the lyrics....HE IS WAKING UP THE MASSES
