Doesn't look like a reflection. And having helped paint a few birds myself, I know for a fact that mistakes like that don't happen when using a stencil. If it does, it gets removed and redone. And such a glaring "mistake" like this one would lead to the shit canning of the CDI (Collateral Duty Inspector) who signed off on such a paint job like this one. They'd lose their CDI stamp, have their CDI qual removed, and get sent to the shittiest of shit jobs until they left HMX-1. I know this, because I've seen it happen in other instances of shoddy maintenance in other Navy/USMC commands myself.
So, either it really is a reflection, or it's CGI of some sort, or Q is secretly letting us know all is well in the world and to continue holding the line. They've manag d to work things like this in the past, so this, to me at least, seems the most likely case.
