OK - just pellet guns, but good for learning gun safety and the principles of 2A.

Yes son, yes - that's ok.
There are some areas with laws colloquially called “castle doctrine.” e.g. your home is your castle. You can use appropriate force to defend it. That said, I think a jury would still take a dim view of a shooting if the shooter’s life wasn’t in danger. My theory when I am wearing my weapon is “Behind every bullet, there’s a lawyer.”
And I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
Never heard to empty mag. My ccw instructor said dont stop firing until the threat is immobilized. But I can see that taking a whole mag. I hope I never have to do it, but I'm always ready to.
