I agree with you. But to give context (and not knowing where you are located geographically), I'm in NYC and I'd like to share a story of cognitive dissonance, mind control and useful idiots who have been shown, but it doesn't mean they can see . . .
My neighbors have been in Florida for about a month doing business. One of the two of them just returned home on Monday, and he tested positive for Covid.
He said, "it's so crazy to be in Florida where nobody's wearing masks and everything is open and there's no restrictions on capacity in restaurants, etc., and to come back to the City where it's the complete opposite and it's so quiet everywhere."
My response: "Well, now you understand why people are leaving states like California and New York and moving to Florida and Texas. Freedom is popular, dystopia isn't."
He replied, "getting sick isn't popular either"
So I asked, "how are you feeling?"
He responded, "the first day felt like a deep flu with a fever, but today no fever and I'm 99% better"
So let me get this straight... he's acknowledging that he basically just had a 24-hour flu, and so dystopia is the smart, preferable, political science-based option because you caught the flu?!?!?! Yep.
And granted, he told me his wife also tested positive, but she was sick for about 2 weeks, and better now. Yes, this is how a really bad flu works. Sometimes it knocks you out - it's happened to me in years past. So I stay home and deal until it passes, which it eventually does because I'm not elderly and I don't have other underlying issues which compromise my immune system.
I deal with mental giants like these on a daily basis here - all pseudo-intellectuals with advanced degrees and very financially comfortable.
I'm not sure what it's going to take to wake these people up, when they can't see the lack of logic or reasoning in their own opinions. And I pray daily that we don't have to keep suffering while we wait for them to wake the fuck up.
