As bad as stuff seems, this whole awakening has not only validated Christ through my research, but has brought me closer to God than ever before.
Even if things don't work out the way we want, even if justice fails, the ultimate goal was awakening our relationship with Christ.
God works in mysterious and magical ways. What a genius. Winning as he always does.
God bless you all. We win in the end no matter what.
Do you see what his plan was now? Incredible.
Stoicism brought me to Christ. I know, it sounds odd, but let me explain. The Stoic concepts of supreme good and virtue got me thinking about why virtue exists. Why is there a moral system that can be applied to any and every situation we face that can make it better? As I wondered about this a word popped into my head...God.
I thought about this for a while and couldn't come up with a better explanation. Virtue is a divine gift, a gift from a loving Father to help us live a better life on this earth. With that realization I started researching and reading as much as I could find on the subject. Writings from people like Dinesh D'souza, Gerald Schroeder, Hugh Ross, Lee Strobel, Peter Kreeft, and William Craig have been instrumental in helping me in my search for the ultimate truth.
The more I read, learn, and pray the more it seeps deep into my soul and the better I feel. I'm in absolute awe of the workings of God and our universe and the gift of salvation offered by my Lord is an endless source of strength and comfort in these weird times.
