imo the noise in here, while much better than voat/qrv was, is still way too much to build a knowledge base that connects different insights

When looking into hidden truths it is sometimes good to get "frivolous" input. You never know what might be relevant, or what one person might see that another won't. Putting moderation too high is just as damaging to research as setting it too low.
On this site the signal to noise ratio is not super high, but its not super low either. If you want a high quality post, post a high quality post. There are plenty of critical thinkers that will look at it. If you want others to post them just pay attention, they happen all the time.
