Junk silver and gram weight gold isnt a bad idea either just in case we go full Mad Max.

Ammo and alcohol will be just as valuable in that situation.

Yeah thats always the funny part. Tobacco, storage food, alcohol, and water will be worth more than even silver and likely gold if it ever got that crazy

I have a 14-ft diameter above ground pool I got for $200 at Walmart for the kids (and adults sometimes). I’ll always be sure to at least have something this size for emergency water storage. It’s also close enough to a roof gutter downspout in case I ever needed to run it to the pool for rainwater.
