Because the God has a mission for you. There is nothing in life that He wouldn't allow to happen. If He allows that - He has a reason. You may learn that hard way but thanks to that you gain a unique experience. One day you will meet someone way more vulnerable and really suffering and you will be the only hero able to understand and save that person and you will fulfill God's plan. That day you will understand how strong you are and how strong you was for all that time.
