You should make the title more informative like, Facebook now targeting your kids.
Can I change it? I do apologize, I'm new (obviously). I'll try to go edit...
Sorry to have jumped on you earlier. (Or at least the impatience in my second comment... I still sort of stand by my initial comment?)
Your name looked familiar from the comments, so I just assumed you weren't new, but I see now that you indeed have only made two posts... and I genuine appreciate those who don't post all the friggen time. And who only post when they have something good.
And it's the quiet ones who justifiably get people's attention when they speak. So, if I can phrase it differently... well, I guess I'd still have said "Stop these retarded tease titles." but then added "fren" and a "?" after it. And then noted that un-descriptive clickbait titles, in addition to being just bad, usually don't generate the follow-through clicks (nor facilitate searches in the future, if someone is curious about the subject) nearly as well as do more descriptive titles. And the Title field is actually quite generously long. So take advantage of that in the future; your posts deserve the very best titles possible. ?
Cheers fren.
Thank you for your kind words. I wasn't trying to be clickbaity, I posted too quickly without thinking it through cuz I have no idea what I'm doing. Yes, highly informative post titles from here out.
On another newbie note, can you tell me what the [S] is next to my name? I hope it doesn't stand for sh*theel or stupid, lol...maybe it's a strike?
Thanks for your understanding.
It just means you're the original poster on that thread.
And don't worry, you're not the only one to have taken a fair bit of time to realize that [points at myself ?].
Oh, gosh, we've all done it. But crap titles quickly get tiring; that whole tease thing is just weird and unnecessary. Good titles making things so much more efficient; you know what you're clicking. And it's over there in the sidebar rules for good reason.
But lots of hotheads get indignant about it. "This is America, so we have free speech and I'll title it whatever I want." And that's just kinda bad.
There'll be plenty of next times. Cheers until then!
