Ur right tho, they sing when they are caged, they sing when they are released, they sing in the spring, they sing at dawn... It can be taken 100 different ways, but context is definitely important, but Q barely gave contextual elaboration on anything...

Q used plenty of idioms. It's no stretch to say Q intended to reference the collective's unconscious regarding birds singing in spring, or angelou's "Caged Bird". It IS a stretch that Q would point it out and expect us to take the "Yeah, but still... They sing in Winter too!" meaning. From what I've seen, when Q is obtuse, or wants us to think of ALL possible meaning, Q very deliberately says so. Q is smart and literate, but Q doesn't appear to be a pendantic asshole about it. ?

Over analysis is fine. Getting caught up in the weeds is something to be aware of.

A rose is a rose is a rose.

Edit: this was directed at u/fitofficial and was not intended to come off as me being an asshole. All critical thinking is welcome
