No confrontations necessary man. I just say "Doctors said not to wear it, thanks" and stroll on past. Nothing ever happens.

If it does, I add "because I have a condition. Thanks!" The because and the dismissive thanks shut them up and send them on their muffled way.

Time to man up, stride in, freeface like you own the joint, and marvel as no one says a word. They're living in fear.
