I didn’t even know how it all worked myself, one of my first posts was called low energy/effort and my name low effort (I guess I’m not that creative). Everyone was cool with me and my post except one who wanted me deported over it. Some of us are just naive too, I only was “awakened” (is that the right term to use?) after the Covid hit and shutdowns, found this site after the election fraud and I left Facebook. This is now one of the few places I go since Rush died. I told my husband the other day, I don’t know what I’d do if this site was gone. He likes to joke about us getting a visit from big brother over my internet use.
Depends on what you consider young, I consider myself not quite gen x but definitely not a millennial, true 90’s girl, Green Day, Nirvana, but I’m a history major in my undergrad, Washington is one of my most admired figures, Trump has joined him on that list, that’s where the name comes from. I like the term xeniall’s for my gen. We remember when there were rotary phones and record players but internet and cell phones came out when we were teens, the perfect combination ;)
Street cred. It's an attempt to appear trustworthy. Look for accounts making a significant number of posts throughout the day, and making comments all day long. They're interested in quantity over quality, that applies to both posts and comments.
Yep, Ive seen it. Even if your trust a source, you should always do as much as possible to check it.

I suppose you are younger than your username suggests.

I suppose the record players and rotary phones are from your grandparents. What is the first president you are aware of?
Yes, grandparents helped raise me because my father died when I was 7. Ronald Reagan of course, one of my children is named after him.
That's nice. Names have meaning. Whether he will become president, too, or follows other callings, it is a gift for him from you.
My only girl ;) she is the biggest Trump fan too.
Either she has already voted for him, or she won't have the chance anymore, since there cannot be a third term.
Hilarious that you'd reply to this post given that it's warning people about accounts like yours!
Huh, that's telling. It's almost as if posting and commenting like a regular person isn't possible? Did you just get permission to engage??
Where do they collect their points?
