Given Trump's brilliance, thoroughness, resourcefulness, wisdom, cleverness etc. I can only conclude that there are factors involved that we are not aware of.

That this route is the only way to get from where we are to justice for the evildoers & freedom for patriots etc.

Maybe those saying this is the only way to rub the evil into the awareness of the sheeple--are right.
