So some conservatives were talking about the new Panteen Pro-v whatever shampoo commercial featuring a trans child. Look I agree it's bad. Think of it this way, what if corporations decided to celebrate right wing activists by having Clorox get certain robes whiter /s. Point is the pollicization of corporations especially in regards to extreme views is not right no matter how you spin it.
Sooo... question... how to deal with it? So there is boycotting and there are phone calls and emails but those rebukes are private. There are also influencers that as I said will cover these sort of things. Is that enough? It still seems like we are loosing ground...
Thoughts?
You dont. Not with government. This is America. If they want to get woke and go broke let them.
The more you try to control corporations with government, the more corporations will try to control government...let me say that again...The more you try to control corporations with government, the more corporations will try to control government.
Ignore them.
Yeah was not implying that we use the government was thinking something more grassroots but their comments are off as usual.
You take a screen shot of a suitable frame of the commercial and make a meme of it. A good meme posted in the right place will go viral.
(And please type "losing" with one "O".)
oops thanks for the spelling correction.
I just... everyone is piling on and these corporations they have to know the support is not there. On that particular ad comments were off and like to dislike ratio favored the dislikes. So was it bad hire that chose this? Or is it part of what Pompeo keeps saying that it's infiltrators? At any rate Grub Hub today had an ad that was pushing Cardi B and Stallion soft core porn dance as the front line event for women's history month? Why can't we talk about Betty Ross or something? IDK
If a corporatiom is making marketing moves that are patently terrible, it wouldn't be a far fetch that they are PANIC'd and are in forced managed decline, self-inflicted.
If that is the case, boycotting IS the desired and prudent course of action.
