That was never a real thing. The law that some people thought meant that previous president retained control of the military for 60 days didn't actually say that. All it did was provide funding from the GAO to the previous president to set up a post presidency office. The act doesn't say a single word about the military. I know people are unhappy with the current situation, but we have to live in the real world. It does us no good to entertain these fantasies.
I concur. I read that whole EO looking for anything about military and found none.
Thanks, it seems like it was an inaccurate interpretation of the existing law that was ammended.
