Send them back a note saying:

"My son / daughter now self-identifies as being Asian. Therefor, we demand that they receive special privileges at your school to compensate for any supposed racism."

"In the future, please refrain from oppressing my child with your whiteness, blackness, latino-ness or any other 'nesses', 'isms' or 'ites' which might impair his/her ability to enjoy our society as a quasi-Asian."
