Praying for you and Grandma, fren. You didn’t fail. You did your job. She has freedom of thought/choice to make her decision based on all the info now, even if we disagree with her. Also, FWIW, while it’s likely bad news for ANYONE to take it, I feel that the problem is less for those past childbearing, as their DNA is already not going anywhere. Much more concerning for young people and how their taking it may affect the future of humanity as a whole.
Prayers fren. I too lost the battle but with my parents....in their 70s. They are past their 2nd doses & still kickin. My dad had major shoulder surgery right after he got it too....NUTS!. Its taken him a while to heal and had strange swelling but he's also an at-risk person for anasthesia, which he had. Hoping thats all it is.
I think you have done all you can. Prayers to lift her & you up!
I am personally 100% against the vaccine. I am not going to get it, whether it costs me my job or my air travel, idgaf. No vaccine for me. However, I am only about 1/3 of the way through my life. At the age of 80, it likely will have little effect, just my 2cents. Now, if your family member was 20, I would be super concerned. Idk. In the end, everyone makes their own choices. God is bigger than this vaccine, no doubt, but there are real consequences for our actions. Have faith & pray to God everyday. He will right your path EVERYTIME, ask him for wisdom in understanding HIS plan, because we often (atleast speaking about myself) get caught up in our plan & not God's plan.
Godspeed & God bless you & your family. Hope you both find peace & that there aren't any harsh feelings over it!!!
Prayers send fren. I get it. My parents both took the shots & just couldn't believe that their religious leaders would tell them to get the shots if they would hurt members.
I spend a few days going over the history of our denomination vs government over reach & the history of government vs Christianity for cenuries (what they taught me). I also showed them all the data I had saved up with MD's explaining why this was a bad idea. They both agreed they shouldn't trust Fauci, but couldn't grasp not taking it.
I’m sorry. You didn’t fail. You tried your best. That’s all you can do. I tried with my parents but they, too, chose differently. They are in the 80s. Thankfully, they haven’t seemed to have had any side effects. I hear you. God bless you for trying! ?

If it makes you feel better....my grandparents in their mid 90's got both shots a month ago without any reaction.
I would love if you posted that dvd on youtube. Maybe it could still help some people.

I pray we don't get a 2nd wave anytime soon.
