There is a serious probability that the grounded Ever Given will need to be unloaded if tugs cannot pull her free.

Update: the people trying to move the ship cannot contact the owner. The ship lessor (Evergreen Marine) stated a "Taiwanese owner" according to british msm papers. They also claimed the owner stated it was "high winds" that caused the ship to run aground.

Thank you fren. Did not know that. Obviously not in tune with this type of thing. Same token- how far apart are these huge carriers? I would think they space them out decently but also in a very timely/precise fashion. I.e. every .5 miles a carrier is allowed to enter the canal. So wondering if the carrier behind is taking pics/videos ?
The stills we have are mostly from other nearby ships, or ground crew trying to free it from the beaching that has occurred.
Not sure on min distances but there is a LOT of backed up shipping...
