I'm amazed at the sheer magnitude of talent in the artistry of painting and drawing from centuries past. It's incredible the level of detail people are able to achieve by brushstroke. Even if I don't appreciate the subject matter within these works, I can definitely remark on the raw talent that these artists employ.
