Hi, my parents are in their mid-eighties and very PRO_TRUMP, but they live in a bastion of demonrats on the coast in California. They both have PC's and cell-phones, and recently, at random times during the day (last night it was at 3 AM), they hear a voice shouting "JOE BIDEN, JOE BIDEN!!!". Last night it was a female voice, and before it has been a male voice.
That would seem to rule out some kind of batch file running with a random time execution because of the the different voices. It could be a cell-phone ring-tone, set up by a mischevious grandkid, and they have a few. What else could do that?
It is driving them nuts, because they feel invaded, and because they hate Uncle Joe so much! Any ideas appreciated.
Tell me they don't have Alexi or similar in the house, if so it can be hacked.
Tell them to turn things off (one a night) until it doesn't happen anymore. Then you have your culprit.

Disconnect the wifi / ethernet chord, and put the cell phones in the microwave.
Don't turn on the microwave! It acts as a Faraday cage.
Eliminate these electronics as a source of the nuisance.

That sounds like a good set of possible sources. They are surrounded by very tech-savvy liberals, and I figured my parents flads and bumper stickers had provoked a prank. Thanks!
