^^You are exactly right. At a family dinner not long ago a teenage girl said “Since when did trying to keep people alive become a political issue?” She was talking about mask mandates and the horrible grandma-killers that are against them. This particular part of my family is about as far left as they come... certain members of it are also certifiably bonkers. It took every ounce of restraint not to loudly retort “Since people like you started demanding legal abortion.”
My body my choice...tell them to show you the actual science backed by pear reviewed studies that can be duplicated by anyone else who try the same study.
Woah! I wish you had!
My mom has a tendency to slip into hysterics over, well, just about anything. (I’m talking full on hysterics, crying until you’re vomiting for days on end.) Had I said something like that in her presence, she very likely would have ended up in the ER, again.
I’ve learned to just keep my mouth shut in her presence. Not worth it.
That sounds unstable and unhealthy. I'm really sorry you've had to cope with someone like that. What a miserable time. Might be a vitamin deficiency, lack of the B's can make a person overly emotional (just one symptom of many).
