There is no reason to invest in cloning for the DeepState, especially with the age of their figures.

The logistics in intentionally aging a clone to be 70 years old only for them to have an operation life of about 4 years is untenable. They would die from the genetic aging process before they could be put to task, let alone trained and remember that training.

Maybe for organ harvesting? No. They have too many human trafficked slaves to worry about that.

Instead, they would likely invest in surrogate androids before any cloning angle.

That, or they strategically chose candidates with twins and groomed the pair from birth, hiding the twin's existence.

Both of those angles are more likely than clone body doubles. Even more-so is just the time tested similar-looking body double or a guy in a silicone mask.

The only reason you would invest in cloning is for the production of a eugenic race of super-soldiers... That's about it. There is no other advantage that some simple plastic surgery or some body harvesting can't solve.

No, the cloning body double thing is just too out there to take seriously at this point in the game.

I'm still open to surrogate androids, though, as crazy as that sounds. The whole Niagara Falls Men in Black video has me thinking this angle is far more likely than clones. If the story is true, I don't think they were aliens -- just prototype android surrogates.

It would explain why Crazy Nancy doesn't want to use her own metal detectors she had installed. Right?

The game Deus Ex had some inclusions of these types of Men in Black. The claims from real sightings from the 60s is that they spoke monotone with a reverb, like robots. Here's what the game, that also coincidentally predicted in 2000 that the Twin Towers would be taken out by terrorists, thought they would sound like based on the Super-Conspiracy Theorist Game Director's research.

For the record:

Clones, No.

Android Surrogates, Highly Unlikely.

Twins at Birth, Unlikely.

Guy in a Hollywood Mask, Maybe.

Body Double with Tons of Surgery, Probably.

Deepfakes, Probably.

CGI De-Aging/Cleanup, Definitely.
