I usually go with:

"I don't trust any politicians, do you?"

"What about media, do you trust the media?"

"Do you think the media tricks us into wars?"

"Do you think the media is telling us the truth about covid and the vaccine?'

"Who do you think the media serves?"

Sometimes I get the stupidest of answers, but surprisingly - many know they are lied to, but they seem to forget constantly.
