We have been told that the ending will not be for everyone. I could take that different ways... but as an analogy, last night some strong winds and rain blew through my area of east Tennessee and this morning I spent cleaning up dead branches from my yard, the storm clearing out the trees of deadwood. I don't know if that is a fair analogy but it just struck me that our population has grown too large and too soft, it punishes the producers and rewards the non-producers. Maybe I'm wrong, but any Storm worthy of the name might just recreate our people into something more vibrant and productive. Just offering some thinking points.
I am in agreement with your line of thought here. I too, feel that this is what was meant. Great analogy. Another one would be the parable of the wheats and tares from the bible.
I think this is a very good analogy of what may be happening, fellow East Tennessean. I don't know about the population being too large but it is definitely too soft.
Ha! Actually those are my instruments too... guitar, mandolin (out of practice), banjo, harmonica, hammer dulcimer (also a bit out of practice), and autoharp. I chose the banjo in my avatar name because it is the latest addition to my instruments, took it up about 2 years ago, and I play mostly clawhammer style.
Some friends and I have recently begun meeting at Lakeshore to play some, mostly Old Time, blues, and Americana.... let me know if you're interested.

Many people will die or be maimed by the Covid jab, for sure.

Knoxville here, and you?
Same here. I see you're a banjo man... I get along ok with a mandolin and guitar. Can't see any way to PM on dot win or we could talk more.
