Rec centers and gardens can easily and efficiently be built by the people if govt would just get out of the way and stop requiring environmental studies, engineer's studies, construction permits, etc, etc. We used to be capable as a community, now we are forced to beg the govt to provide what we need and want, and then overpay for it in order to enrich those that feed at the elite trough.
All of these taxes just get passed along to the consumer.
