Do you silly Brits have any idea how much pollution you are adding to the environment by putting that extra "ne" on the end of that word! My god!
Just think about all that extra ink wasted; the extra trees that needed to be cut down for extra paper to accommodate billions of that needlessly long word, and all those terrible chemicals needed to make that stuff.
Wait until Greta Thurnberg get a hold of you people. You will never again be known as the knights who say "ne!"
Ah, but we Brits say "behind" and never "in back of". We also say "toilet" and never "restroom" or "bathroom" when we need a pee. You see, we're quite conservative, really.
1 ton = 1000 kg = 1 cubic METER of water. = 1000 litres of water (water in about 39-40 F)
1 litre = 1000 cc. Fortunately you in USA haven't syringes working on fractions of gallon isn't it ? Unfortunately despite "everything in USA is big", your cups seem bit small. (1 cup = 1/16 gallon = 0,23l , 1 standard glass of water = 0,25l ) ;)
(by the way - meter was originally meant 1/10^7 distance between equator and pole but later it was recognised measurement was bit fucked at fifth place after the dot.).
It's a cubic METRE. (A meter is for measuring stuff like Ohms and gallons.) BTW a UK gallon is significantly larger than a US gallon but don't ask me why. Probably because a yank couldn't drink a full gallon of English beer.
Actually I'm British so here it's a tonne.
1 tonne = 1,000 KG = 1 metric ton (in US)
Also, I dont see why youd only bother to reply to (incorrectly) spell check somebody. Seems useless.
Kek
There are a lot of us Brits here and that makes me proud.
