The goalposts have never been moved

That's an illusion created by our never actually knowing the real position of the goalposts in the first place, for reasons we also need to not know.

We not only have no need to know, because we're outsiders to the op; we need to not know, so the enemy doesn't either, and we can't fuck up the op.

Patience is never intended for the times when it's easy to have. Like trust and hope and faith. :)
