Dude, spend some of those silver coins on a graphics/drawing tablet it will make your life so much easier when putting these collage/maps together :)

There are others too, but these are open-source & have many vids to help new artists.

Those tablets are cheap as chips, they connect to your laptop... draw on the tablet with the pen & hey presto :)
