People are missing the point here. This is not about the police or government overreach. This is about a priest on a power trip. They were wrong on a point in the law. The owner of the building does not have to be the one to claim trespassing. ANY representative of the owner can ask you to leave and then call the police and its trespassing.
The solution here is simple... everyone needs to stop going to this church. the priests and people running the church are the ones at fault here.
The husband hit on the one absolute truth... Churches are supposed to be a place you seek sanctuary from this sort of tyranny yet these priests are the tyrants.
I'm an atheist BTW and IMHO these priests are evil. They have no compassion in their heart. For them its about power.
It's actually EVERYWHERE. Even though masks are Not mandated in TX, they still require them everywhere. It's one thing to ask people to wear a mask, but why call the police? It's so out of hand. It's never going to end.
I'm in GA and while plenty of people wear them I went to Walmart without one and no one said anything to me. Probably 10% of the people in the building were maskless. Then again I guess this was in Dallas and its like Atlanta the closer you get tot he center of town the more liberal it gets. I'm out in the burbs in Atlanta so far more sane people here than just 10 miles west of me.
The insane part of this is a church victimized a member. I can't even comprehend that. I thought the whole point of modern Christianity was spreading Jesus's love. This was pretty much the opposite.
I think that is true with most priest/pastors etc, but this incident just highlights the truth... leftist thinking has infected the minds of a solid number of priests. Look at the current pope. He's basically a communist.
It it 2-3% or is it 10-20%??? Hard to tell, but various churches need to get a better handle on this or it will destroy them from the inside.
