Shitters full!
Plummer’s are expensive!!
Wouldn't it REALLY upset people of they free the Evergreen, but then another ship gets stuck the next day?
yes I suppose it would depending on the people. this community certainly wouldn't be upset. you predicting this or what is logic that I'm not following ?
What kind of money is that? Fiat currency? Who pays? Taiwan? The insurance company (strong winds)? Each ship that doesn’t meet its appointment for transversing the canal? Who receives (or has to try to collect—Egypt? Who’s benefiting?
I read one article and it said the "owner" of the ship. perhaps if Evergreen is the transportation company for all of the cabals nefarious f'ed up crap this will bankrupt them and then some
But wouldn’t they put it on their insurance? What if the ship was being piloted by a canal pilot? Wouldn’t the employer of the pilot be responsible?
who knows but who ever gets stuck with this they are all going down the toilet eventually as soon as it's unclogged !
insurance company, Evergreen, etc could all go bankrupt easily with claims in the
if it's stuck for a lucky 13 days say (I had seen link that April 5th is over under for unclogged date and it got stuck on 24th) that'll add up to ~ $125,000,000,000
not sure what insurance company can cover that nut but maybe they can
I think the real problem they need to worry about is what they were trying to ship
Yeah, and it’s not only that ship. A number of ships caught in the backlog/clog are carrying animals that had minimal food/water on board. That will be a catastrophe when they start dying. The spoilage of foods is also a concern.
