I’ve sarcastically said a couple of times when he brings Biden up “at least he tweets nice things”.

To be honest, the way he responds with a chuckle and a quiet “yeah”, I can’t tell if he’s embarrassed or if he actually just doesn’t get that I’m being sarcastic, but lately I’m inclined to think it’s the latter.
