There was no sign requesting or requiring a mask and being Sunday the store was packed but yet I was the only person in the store without a mask!

They are virtue signaling with their masks. They think it's being thoughtful. They are "being a hero" like a good little commie.
Wearing of the masks began with fear from ignorance. Then the HABIT was established.
