It was a TheDonald thing, and any rare occasional use here seems to be a carryover from that unserious place.

They also fetishized him as "Daddy". It was all so gay, lame and awful.

Don't attribute that nonsense to Donald Trump himself. Unless you are intentionally disingenuous, in which case, you'll certainly just keep right on doing what you're doing.
