Yes, by all means let's squelch our freedom of expression and our demonstrations of it, because a handful of bad people might do something, while 99.99% of the rest of the crowd is peaceful patriots protesting.

But muh news media will show the people wearing MAGA gear committing violence, and we'll look bad to normies.

Yeah, only to those who still believe the fake news. Based on their ratings, that's less than half of what it used to be in the years B.T. (before Trump).
