The Jews were looking for a king to save them from Roman rule. Jesus came and went and that didn't happen. Because the Pharisees were looking for political change they didn't see what was going on In God's kingdom. I hope everyone remembers this is ALWAYS about what God is doing not some event that brings earthy liberation and we miss what is important. The date-faggish title but not the point of the post.
