I remember an interview he did where he talked about people stalking his father as a means to intimidate him. He said it was scary stuff.

Remember how hard they cried out "muh antisemitism"? in trying to vilify him?

As a writer and director, his choice in movies are very interesting as well: Braveheart, The Patriot, Passion of the Christ, even Apocalypto. A lot of his movies carry the same themes and to me that is anti-tyranny/establishment.

I remember when that happened. Of course we all believed he had loat his mind because...who could believe such evil existed at that point?
