At this point, I think a good 40% wouldn't wake up no matter what.

You need to expand your thinking.
Try picturing a giant timeline of events from the past 300 years.
Now add an additional 300 years towards the future.
We’re currently blips on that timeline experiencing a small chunk of it.
Some people have an accurate sense of this entire movie but a lot of people do not.
To us, imposing our will forcibly might make sense since we see what’s dark/light clearly... but people who we disagree with us and aren’t awake believe they have a clear picture of what’s dark/light as well.
If we forcibly took control of everything without being able to explore every last avenue of the rule of law.. we would be no better than the people we don’t like.
Think about superheroes who are the embodiment of what everyone believes good to be. They stand vigilant to doing what’s right without forcing anything on the people they’re protecting no matter what. This is because those are the values they hold dear. Those values are the guiding light to what’s right. Values don’t have exceptions.
The actions taken now can have an impact for generations to come depending on how much they understand.
You know how these families are bloodlines? That’s because they’re not living in the now. They’re living in the forever and are thinking / planning on generations, not years or decades.
