I have always been suspect about Zoom since the boom, i do use it for work by time, as i do with Teams, and Skype for Business when available (that i still prefer to be honest)

I farily think Zoom has been a black hat ops for multiple reasons, of which the tops are

• So many companies, schools, governments, started to use it on a rush -> possibly thousands of videos / data are being exfiltrated
• People used the free version without even knowing what it was by real (specially kids from mobiles / notebooks)
• It has been full of flaws and had in multiple quarters of the last year many attacks / hacks, they didn't enable encryption until late last year (and is not an option enabled by default for entry level users) put it together with what wrote in the 2 points up.... you wonder if they do actually care of their security but are stupid, or if their valuable information's were/are meant to be available to external entities, just think at how many hours of confidential meetings registered on their cloud they have....
