Also, why is Trump writing in what appears to be finished book?

If he is signing it, why in the middle of the book?

Is "follow the pen" appropriate here?

Does this mean we are half-way through the story? Half-way through the fairy tale show being put on before us?

He could be taking notes or it could be a journal. Some of them are hard bound.

He is mimicking the guy in the painting. If it's "the Mathmetician", then this could represent Trump calculating his next move, or letting us know it's already been calculated and he's fine-tuning the plan.
