Yippee! The US corporation is defunct & has no power! The power lies within the States to run things as they see fit! State must say no to the Federal government!
Then you have grounds to sue. That is the power of this bill. You can make the argument that they perceived my view as hate speech, and they are fundamentally wrong as its my political world view.
It leave Twitter in a box:
Allow it
Get sued to oblivion
Ban Texas (not happening)
Geebus, frens need to slow down and look at it from all angles before going the debbie downer route.
'Course you know they never ban someone for their political views. They ban them for "violating their terms of service" without ever tell you which term of service was violated or which specific thing was the violation. I'm not sure how they will enforce this, but it does make a strong statement on the sentiments of the people towards Big Tech and their bans.
This is awesome!! I have a question though, as a less-tech-savvy guy. If they can monkey with the dislike count on a youtube video, for instance, do they have the capability to mask their user numbers and do an end-around on the text of the law as written? And why not make the number 1? Is there any platform that we want to encourage cencorship on?
Thank you!

It really seems that way
Texas...You're hot!
They'll say it's for hate speech or misinformation or something when they ban you.

Now if we can get constitutional carry.
Cool move, but even then I'll never again interface with those turds.

Seems to be more about how often they want to enforce this than a level of censorship.
Take all company shares and give out to citizens!
Yes! Thank you Texas!
