Gnostic teaching states Satan is the God/Creator of this world and the Serpent came to show us 'the way'. He took a 'fall' for that. Lucifer/Prometheus took a 'fall' to help us, Jesus took a 'fall' to help us…and if you have truly lived in this material existence…it is a requirement to take a 'fall' to do truly good.
